Cape Town girl survives a five storey fall

A 4-year old girl fell from a five-storey block of flats and miraculously only fractured her arm in Brooklyn on Monday.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Lauren Copley says "What made the girl's ordeal so remarkable is that she was lucky to fall onto a small area of lawn in front of the building instead of onto the large paved section surrounding it."

The girl was treated on the scene before she was transported to Red Cross Children's hospital.
